Course Overview:
This course is ideal for those who are not directly involved with the operation and maintenance of water systems but still require an understanding of Legionella and the risk posed by this bacteria, and what can be done to minimise the risk.
This awareness course may be applicable to those persons who provide hotel services, caretakers/janitors, and/or building/departmental staff.
The course contains three modules that can be completed at your own pace. The online Legionella training offers exceptional value and delegates are provided with a completion certificate at the end of the course.

The Need for Sufficient Water Hygiene Training
Duty holders have the responsibility to maintain a safe estate in order to adequately protect occupants from waterborne pathogens such as Legionella and associated disease. Failure to do this may result in prosecution (even in the absence of a Legionella incident or outbreak), contingent upon the extent of non-compliances/water management failings that have been identified within a given estate.
Who are we?
The Water Hygiene Centre was established in 2009 to address the lack of independent water hygiene consultancy within the industry.
